The success of the Chasseur de Jobs game, created during formaform’s 2019 Créathon, inspired us, with the help of the Forem training center Corail, to adapt it into English for use by language trainers.
You are looking for a job, applying, and attending several job interviews. Each player receives job cards (some realistic, others completely wacky) to use throughout the game. A game consists of several rounds, each with the same three stages:
Phase 1: The Search Stage
Each player receives job cards that they will use throughout the game. The first player reveals the SFC cards on the table. These SFC cards are the ones everyone will need to emphasize during the interview stage.
Phase 2: The Job Interview Stage
Each player argues and tries to convince the other players that their job best matches the SFC cards revealed at the center of the table.
Phase 3: The Recruitment Stage
Participants vote individually for the player who defended their job the best.
At the end of the game, the points accumulated by each player throughout all the rounds are tallied to determine the final winner.
A game designed by Natacha Malchus, Chloé Mertens, Vincent Ledoyen, Jonathan Mansvelt, Rudy Herpain (Forem).
Translated into English by Benoît Severeyns and Lilie Heymans.
